AMS lite HUB SAVER (SIMPLE VERSION)

The AMS Hub on the A1 is unsupported and weak and the part under it, if breaks is hard to replace.

t is designed so the hub can move up and down as it should without friction but is still being supported.

I designed a cap on top that takes load from the lite HUB but also acts as a dust cover but can be lifted to reach the hub.

The height of the chimney is as tall as tall as when you push down on the hub you can still reach the top and deattach a tube.

Printed with Bambu Lab - PLA Basic - Light Grey for a perfect color match. :)

Love this design "épurée". Makes me think of Space 1999 (old sci-fi series - meh, but loved the design). Boosting now before I print to support you. Ordered light-grey, mixing filament color in the mean-time.

space 1999 season 1 was amazing. good old Freddie Fryberger, who orieuced the final season of Star Trek and Six Million Dollar Man also reformatted 1999 to make it ridiculous. The effects folks who worked on the show came from 2001 and then later worked on Star Wars. If this show had come out post star wars , it would've been a ginormous hit. all the model special effects were in camera and most were absolutely stunning. so many guest actors--Joan Collins, Patrick Troughton, Peter Cushing, the list go on.

I printed this out because it seems like a really good idea, but personally i think a pointer to a video on how to install properly would be great. thank for "making". now to youtube to find a video on how to remember tubes sand install this. peace.
