Description

This is a set of spiral-inspired ornaments with variations in spiral number (single/double), design style (full/hollow), and spiral count (many/few). I tested a bunch of designs and weeded out the ones that were difficult/unreliable to print. However, if you would like a particular variation please let me know and I will gladly create a new version for you. The stem is printed separately with an easy-to-print thread design.

I put a lot of time and care into making and testing these. I would greatly appreciate any boosts you can spare.

Printed great without adhesion issues using the print profile as provided on my P1S. Filament used is CC3D bicolor silk PLA rose-blue. Two ornaments had a rougher thread that wasn't as smooth as the others, but turning back and forth a bit made it fit perfectly without breaking the rings.

And on the tree. I'm enjoying the mix of modern 3d print and the traditional dried orange.

Also went ahead and printed them in some rainbow filament that I had. I think they turned out as good as the others.

These are very nice! For my second batch, I printed the handful my wife thought looked the best on-screen. I had some very fine stringing/webbing in the center of the hollow core model I printed - cleaned it up by passing the flame of a grill lighter quickly through the openings between vanes.

Wow! Those look great! Thanks for sharing the pics and for the tip regarding the stringing.

I'm pretty sure the stringing is just an issue with the old filament I'm using. Thank you again for the great models!
