Designed to secure the source spool (i.e the one you are taking the filament from) onto the arms. Simple to clip and on and take off and designed to be used where the arm bearings are bolted.

It fits very well with the Pastamatic filament reel. I think it's very useful, so the axles are fixed!

Helps keep the spool from popping out when it gets towards the end! great print profile came out better than my own ( tried my own and had to reprint)
