<ul><li>No AMS required.<ul><li>I split the model up onto multiple plates, each plate titled with the pause point and colour switch required.&nbsp;</li><li>Pause points should already be set along with a dummy colour switch at the end. The dummy colour switch allows addition of a prime tower onto the plate, while the pause is the actual point to change the filament.&nbsp;</li><li>The dummy colour switch is only available when two or more filaments are selected, so this is essential to keep, simply change both filaments to what you're using, I printed in PETG so both were set as PETG.&nbsp;</li><li>Multiple plates were needed as the colour split layer is different on each part, I had to choose an appropriate one.</li></ul></li><li>No sprue.<ul><li>I took the model into Blender and removed each bit of sprue one at a time then repaired the parts after.</li><li>I wanted to gift these to people for Christmas where they'd be able to build it right then. The sprue is amazing and gives the design character, but needs tools to cut them away from it.</li><li>Splitting the parts was also needed to get a better colour switch per part.</li></ul></li><li>1x or 4x quantity<ul><li>With the parts split they take up less room, there are plates for 1 of each part or 4 of each part.</li></ul></li></ul>Versions (Plates):<ul><li>Original design with no AMS (Plate 1)<ul><li>I put the original parts in as a single plate and added a prime tower and pause point, I chose layer 7 for the pause as it gives a decent finish all round although not as per the original design.&nbsp;</li></ul></li><li>No sprue design, with no AMS, x2 (Plate 2)<ul><li>The no sprue version all on one plate with a colour switch pause at layer 7. Will be the same as Plate 1, with no sprue. Quantity 2.&nbsp;</li></ul></li><li>No sprue design, with no AMS, x1 (Plate 3)<ul><li>As per plate 2. Quantity 1.&nbsp;</li></ul></li><li>No sprue design, with no AMS, separate plates, x1 (Plates 4 - 9)<ul><li>Each part placed on a plate with pause points set for appropriate colour switches to get closer to the original design. Quantity 1.&nbsp;</li></ul></li><li>No sprue design, with no AMS, separate plates, x4 (Plates 10 - 14)<ul><li>As per plates 4-9. Quantity 4.</li></ul></li></ul>Tips:<ul><li>The current version of studio allows pause for colour switch using the Unload and Load commands. Sometimes the UI can be buggy and not let the buttons work. Change the colour of the selected spool filament and it should update the buttons allowing them to operate normally.</li><li>There seems to be a bug where, on resuming from pause, it will dot the new colour onto the last position before pause, then move onto the priming tower. It's not ideal but not going to ruin anything.</li></ul>
