Description

The "Mini Hearth"

Boost Me (for free)

Happy Holidays!

Don't have a fireplace? No problem! It's so festive, even the sugarplum fairies want to move in!

This Mini Hearth uses a 1.3" diameter tea light designed to fit the ones in Maker Supply (see below).

And hang up some Stockings!

Printing Instructions for Your "Mini Hearth"

Your "Mini Hearth" is designed to fit most printers. However, if you need to resize it, take care to not resize the tea light ring otherwise it may not fit the tea lights (you can turn it off in the 3mf file if you want).

Now, let's dive into the specifics:

Print Settings:

  • Infill: Optimal results are achieved with a 10% infill. Keep in mind that if you plan to use the tea light, steer clear of lightning infill patterns, as it will become visible through the model.
  • Layer Height: Set your layer height to 0.2mm with adaptive layer height for the best print quality.
  • Nozzle Size: Use a 0.4mm nozzle.
  • Supports: No supports are needed.

You can also print it flat on its back, but it will make the top faces look less appealing.

Material Choice:

I opted for Marble PLA for my "Mini Hearth" because I fell in love with its aesthetic appeal. However, keep in mind that certain filaments, like Marble PLA, are abrasive, so avoid using brass nozzles when working with these materials.

Follow these guidelines, and you'll soon have a charming "Mini Hearth" ready to light up your space with holiday cheer! Happy printing!

DO NOT USE A REAL CANDLE IN THIS (it has been asked…)

I genuinely appreciate your support and interest in my 3D models. Boosting and liking my models, as well as following my profile, not only brightens my day but also helps me grow and create more of what you love in the world of 3D modeling. Thank you—your support means everything to me!
