Description

This is a simple bracket to mount your AMS Lite on the wall to free up some desk space. I recommend using #12 drywall anchors if you're not mounting on a stud. You can use the same screws that the stock stand mounts with to attach the AMS. Mount the adapter to the wall first and then attach the AMS! I printed in PLA and it's fine so far, but given the potential weight on the system, I'd recommend printing this in PETG! Both parts can be printed at the same time on the A1 Mini :)

I really like this mount. it’s a great space saving solution. Very flush and simple. printed in Bambu PLA Tough and 25% infill for getter strength.

i'm looking to start on that honeycomb backplate as well, how did you attach the ams to that? or did you hang it on the wall directly?

It's only a temporary solution to see how my AMS box works. I already made changes to that.

I meant are you able to print from the box without the spool being attached to the AMS lite? Does it not have trouble reversing? I've been searching for a decent way to do dry boxes with the AMS lite myself.

had issues with the holes holding the ams. i was going to reprint it but from looking at the other photos, it seems to be on most people's prints. any ideas?

It's just the nature of the bracket and hole placement. To have clearance and keep the holes located properly it left very little edge distance there unfortunately. Mine is like that too. It wont impact functionality:)

ok, thanks. i added some little washer to beef it up a bit.

If you select "Detect thin wall" under "Strength > Walls" it will close that gap, but it would only be visual, not to add strength.

If you have time I highly recommend printing the improved version of this model! It’s sturdier and has more clearance for spools. Enjoy!

Ideal solution to save space with the ams lite. Being two pieces, it moves a little but works very well.

For me it's too close to wall, but overall Works great! A lot of space saved.

There is a spacer you can print as well to move it away from the wall a bit!

Printed with PLA as mentioned, but I'm a little afraid that it's not strong enough to hold 4 rolls of filament.

I haven't had an issue with mine in PLA, so you should be alright. I have uploaded a more robust, improved version of this however if you're worried about it!
