Description
A REMIX of Python AMS Enclosure Seals that have gasket groves and gaskets (that can be printed in TPU).
I want to say thanks to Zanfar (link on this page) and HumeBeam for the the platform to remix.
Use these if you want NO MORE RATTLING from the seals! The sliding direction has been changed from up-down to left-right. With the stock seals there is limited space to slide the backs down from the top, while these will allow you to use the functionally limitless space to the center of the enclosure.
NOTE: These parts will be much tighter than the stock parts, by design. Any seam artifacts, or imprecise seating of the gasket, may make the seal overly difficult, if not impossible to install.
- All parts (except the gasket itself) should be compatible with the stock seals and enclosure. You can use a modified back with a stock front and visa versa. However, you must use the modified fronts if you also want to use a gasket.
- Print however you want; there are no overhangs and no supports, rafts, or brims needed. Orient with the large flat side down and use whatever settings you prefer. Any filament suitable for your enclosure should work just fine.
- Print the gaskets in something flexible or with give. The gasket is too small for there to be any infill, so all the compression ability comes from the filament's intrinsic squishiness. I used Sain Smart 95A with the default Bambu profile and it works fine.
