I was looking for a quick way to test the accuracy of my printers.

But I didn't want to use several complex test models, I wanted to get a quick and easy overview in the shortest possible time.
That's why I designed this simple test disc. It tests the dimensional accuracy of the axes and also the accuracy of cylindrical bearings. These have extra handles so that you can try to turn or remove them with force. This makes it easier to realise how much is still missing for it to work.
I have deliberately omitted overhangs, as I am purely concerned with accuracy, without taking into account the cooling capacity for overhangs.

All relevant values are also printed on the model:
The outer measuring points are 70mm wide, the inner measuring points 10mm and the cylinders have a gap between 0.05mm and 0.3mm
The Z height is 7mm.

 

Attention important print settings:

Slicer gap closing radius: 0.024mm
(otherwise it will not recognise the 0.05mm gap)

Can you describe this in more detail? The point is to test the model quickly and not to print a strong model?
