Description

I am Ankly the articulated robot

Author: http://www.soniaverdu.es/

Model page: https://pinshape.com/items/37226-3d-printed-ankly-robot-3d-printed-assembled

It is printed articulated, without need of later assembly.

Once printed it is necessary to review and remove the small supports of the piece.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkAjQNrZWSM

You will find three files one at 100% another at 80% and another at 60%

I printed and added images of 60% and more difficult but without complications with the 3mf file what i added

( 100% size it is easier to get good results)

Cool little robot! A little stringy, not sure if it was me, the printer or something else. Thanks for sharing!

I printed several with that same profile and they come out just as well, it could be any setting anyway, thanks for your comment 🙂

The head support came loose and later the hands too. Still got a fully functional fingerless robot. L.E. After several failed attempts with no brim, I managed to successfully print it with a brim. It requires some detailed work to clean the brim afterwards, but it's worth it! The designer did an incredible job, as the joints need thorough testing to work effectively with FDM printing.

I printed a few without problems but you can add a raft for safety.… Then I will add a configuration file to add rafts and you won't have that problem 😐

I'm reprinting on the smooth plate to see how it sticks. I'm pretty sure it's me or my printer, so no worries :)

I absolutely love this little robot!! He’s my printing buddy. My son insisted on an army of them so there’s quite a few around the house. I thought it would be fun to add some additional color to him and give him eyes. ☺️

EVERYTHING MOVES!! This cutie needs to become the next big thing. He printed perfectly, his joints were a little stiff, as if he’d been left behind on a deserted ship. After a wiggle he came to life. I love him.

Other Issues:the printer kept tripping over the printed parts. tried it three times and the third time it finally printed successfully. maybe that was just the printer’s fault. overall I think it’s a pretty cute design. 😺👍

I printed several without any problems, the rubbing with the print is more something that has to do with the printer because it has already happened to me several times with other models... still, thanks for commenting 😁

makerworld forced those 3 stars cos the first time the print failed. when I tried to give you 5 stars, it gave me a warning telling me that I could not give more than 3, sorry

My print was good but the bottom joints could use a rework. THX

very cool design and super fun to pay with, both my son and I love it! The durability of the sockets could be better. I gave it to my son and all the limbs fell off in about a minute (not rough play at all). I hot glued all the sockets in place and since then it’s been rock solid. (they still love)
