Tiny Christmas Tree Cat Toy
Print Profile(2)

Description
Sure we'll make ourselves a cozy Christmas by the fire and the Christmas Tree, but what about our beloved furballs? Print this fur-midable Christmas themed tumbling cat toy, fill it up with sand for a purr-fect tumble and the rest is hiss-tory!
Disclaimer: No cats were harmed during the making of this model and it's upload to MakerWorld
As per usual there are a couple of options to pick from:
- The bottom is available in a 100% infill version and a hollow version you can fill with fine sand (for example)
- The hollow version works the best, i would personally pick that one over the 100% infill version;
- There is a funnel you can print to help get the sand/stuff in the bottom without getting it everywhere but ín the bottom-part.
- You can choose for a top with a star and without a star
Keep in mind when preparing for printing:
- No supports needed! Yay!
- Check your color order when printing multicolor, always go from light to dark (e.g. yellow first, than green) to minimize colors bleeding and "whisps" of filament ruining your otherwise perfect prints.
There are a whopping 9 plates available:
- Top part without a star (the top / point of the tree can be sharp, may be better to make it more blunt before giving it to your cat(s)
- Top part with a star, print per object enabled
- Top part with a star, but only the tree (not the star)
- Top part with a star, but only the star (and not the tree)
- Hollow bottom and a plug on one plate
- Just the hollow bottom
- Only the plug for the hollow bottom
- Funnel for the hollow bottom
- Lastly the 100% infill version, print at your own risk as i really liked the results of the hollow version filled with fine sand more!
Getting it together:
- Hollow version with star:
- Fill with sand (or something else of course), close it off by glueing the plug in;
- Put a little bit of glue in the hole where the star goes and put the star in;
- Screw the top and bottom part together.
- Hollow version without a star:
- Fill with sand (or something else of course), close it off by glueing the plug in;
- Screw the top and bottom part together.
- 100% infill version with star:
- Put a little bit of glue in the hole where the star goes and put the star in;
- Screw the top and bottom part together.
- 100% infill version without a star:
- Screw the top and bottom part together, pretty self-explanatory!
