Description

*** UPDATED PRINT PROFILE AND DETAILS WITH LINKS 4/24/24 ***

Had complaints that on the feet of Reddy Kilowatt was missing the black imprint and now has been fixed.

Also had questions on how to mount the LED's and get the lights to flicker like I have in the GIF. I'll start with the type of LED that causes the flicker is not my favorite ones due to the solder joints on them are horrible. I had to resolder them the first time and then I found some solder free 4 pin connectors that help for anyone that doesn't want to solder. I haven't been lucky enough to find an alternative to the flickering controls, but if your alright with fixing the solder joints then get them from here:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0C68FF5YG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

I'd recommend not using those unless your comfortable with resoldering them or using the solder free connectors here:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Y35MGWB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

So your going with this route and you've tested your light strip before installing, I recommend installing the LED's along the inner wall of the first build plate print. I went around twice to have the brighter lighting. I noticed some just slapped in on the back plates and that make the leds standout and not my preferred way to give the lightbox the clean look.

Getting the flicker out of the led strip is simple: Once you have light turned on selected the "FLASH" function on the remote and the press the brightness button multiple times to speed up the flash. I have mine as high as it can go.

Reddy Electric Kilowatt cartoon in a lightbox. I recently posted a "Make Your Sign" Version here:

https://makerworld.com/en/models/71194#profileId-75384

Played around in Fusion360 with the talents of Shurdle3D or shurdle.com and his tutorials.

Comes with two backplates, one with a hole to mount and the other without a hole. Stand is also included if you decide to not to mount it.

If you have any other issues or questions please let me know before throw out nasty comments or ratings. I am here to make the best prints available to my community, with your feedback I'll do my best to make it right.

If you would like to send me a Boost I would really appreciate it

Thanks and Happy Printing!

Layers 2,3&4 have some weird artifacts making it weird for a light box. otherwise a good print.

Thanks for your feedback. I have updated it, some reason bambu slicer has been adding weird stuff. Let me know if you see something that I could've miss on the update.

Is there a reason you rated 4 stars out of 5? The pictures you posted with the rating look fine to me. My only suggestion would be to use the inner wall of front cover to line up your lights with double stick tape.
