Stop a device being plugged into an outlet for whatever reason you have, with this model you can use a padlock to stop the cover being removed and plugged in, maybe your working on the insides of the device and want to stop someone being daft and plugging it in while you work on it.
2 x M3 10mm screws require for the hinges
