Description

I designed a similar version of the golf trainer touraim. I made 2 versions for the putting gate and is designed to fit the reflective fiberglass rods or other versions of alignment rods. I printed with and without supports and found that no supports were needed on my p1p.

I started the first print with PETG, woke up and found it had flown off and stringy filament everywhere 😂 Tried again with PLA and it stuck to the bed and worked well. It is literally on the very edge of the plate, impressed that it worked out well! Printed for a friend so I’m not sure how it holds up overall, but looks solid.

Should I "enable supports", or try printing without them? Bambu studio is complaining about it, but I feel like I could print without them

Did it with supports, it was a pain at first to get them out but then I just shoved a long screwdriver through and it worked pretty well.

I printed without support without any issues

no supports are needed, it’s actually smoother without them honestly.

I will take a look at it and modify to take the collapsing alignment rods. I was always using the fiberglass from homedepot but recently got portable ones.

Trying to download the files for this but every download says there are no models within the files. Tried Cura and Bambu Studio with no luck.

I really need help. I'm trying to open this in Cura but it keeps saying there is no file. I even put the 3mf file through a file converting software into stl and it still doesn't work. How did you guys open it in slicing software?

Hi, I am new here and new to 3d printing, maybe I might be stupid or just inexperienced however I can't open the files in Cura or Prusa. Could someone lend a hand. thanks in advance.
