Description

I designed these P2 Swimmer Hand Paddles for the beach contest using Tinkercad.

These can improve your swim stroke and help you swim stronger and faster if used properly. They also float in case one comes off.

Using the 3d printed tpu straps you can easily secure the paddles to your hands simply by sliding hands under the straps as shown (similar to how a flip flop fits).

The straps have adjustable barbs to tighten or loosen in the slots. You can release by simply twisting the tpu strap 90 degrees and the barbs will align with larger portion of the slot and slip out pretty easily. Reuseable or can print a few extra(recommended) to have on hand in case of loss or breakage.

I printed mine in PETG and at only 3mm thick they have a little flexibility, not too rigid. I did print one in PLA but Petg or better is recommended to deal with warm weather and salt water or pool chemicals.

My Settings:

For paddles: .24 layers, arachne walls, 2 wall, 15% adaptive cubic, infill combination(checked), top/bottom surface pattern = Monotonic Line, Top shells = 4, bottom shells = 3

For TPU Strips: .12 layers (to help print the tiny barbs), Arachne walls, 999 walls (to make them solid)

I hope you like them and I always welcome feedback :)

Only if I had seen these before buying my $30 hand paddles. 😂
