I wanted an Audi TT gear lever surround in my VW T5 but wanted it black so modelled this. There are two parts the top is the nice bit you see and the bottom which you fit through the hole below the gaitor and then screw to. I went further and wanted a secure fixing for the gaitor so added stitch holes and a groove. I fitted this by first stitching the gaitor to the top of the bottom plate then trimmed it nicely. After that I persuaded it through the shift hole (it's tight but does go) Once through and in place I then screwed the top down tightly with four initially with long M3 bolts before going round with 16mm M3 bolts (Adjust depending on thickness of the gaitor material) As you can see it needed sanding primer and paint to get the super shiny black finish in the assembled photo. Print in at least ABS due to being in a vehicle and exposed to extreme temps
