Boost Me (for free)

Every Boost boosts my mood. :-) And it encourages me to keep designing.

Suprisingly strong fully parametric snap hook.

Recommended parameter values:

LENGTH should be double the width or at minimum width+4*thickness
practical WIDTH is at least 5*thickness, a bit lower values are possible, but impractical
smallest THICKNESS that I was able to successfully print was 3mm, but 5mm and more is recommended
GAP should be around the same as your print line width (usually 0.4mm), but 0.36 worked the best

Print it in PET-G!

(Some smaller sizes work with some brands of PLA, but generally it's not a good idea.)

This is the stronger and easier to print version with octagonal profile, but I'm uploading a version with circle profile here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/771640 But once again - this version is better for 3D printing.

DISCLAIMER: The snap rings are quite strong but under no circumstances they should be used for climbing activities, securing people or anything valuable. It's still only a plastic print.
