Bambu Spool Weight

Having issues with your Bambu spools hoping in your AMS when you get to the end of he roll? Here is my take on a weight for Bambu Spools to help alleviate this issue. These weights work with Bambu Spools and many of the printed “Bambu Spools”. Posted are 2 versions. One for US quarters and one for 1 in (25.4mm) fender washers. I used the 1/8" x 1" OD Everbilt washers found at your local Home Depot, but any 1" OD washer will work. I also supplied a US quarter version as that seems to be popular. A roll of quarters is $10 US for 40, but a box of 100 washers is around $13 US. The trade off is the washers weigh a little less.

The cool thing about this design is I've included The Spool Weights without inserts so you can great your own insert tube for whatever you want to use as a weight. The outside diameter of your insert tubes should be 32mm for a snug fit. You can glue the insert tube in or it can float. The tolerances on the twist on cap should hold it in place without gluing.

I think you will be please with the grip comfort of the ends for easier installation.
