Fingerboard 32x96mm Mold + Shaper + Wheels

Introducing our 32x96 mm Fingerboard Mold Set – the ultimate tool for creating custom fingerboards with professional precision! This set includes a two-part mold, a shaper and bearing wheels, perfect for crafting high-quality fingerboards with a symmetrical design.

Key Features:

• Dimensions: Finished fingerboard size is 32x96 mm.
• Material Recommendation: Uses 5 layers of wood veneer, ideally Canadian maple, cut to 40x120 mm for best results. Arrange 3 layers with the grain vertically and 2 horizontally.
• Adhesive Recommendation: Titebond III wood glue, known for its strong, non-toxic bond.

How It Works:

1. Apply glue to one side of each veneer layer, then stack them in the recommended grain pattern.
2. Place the glued layers in the mold and press for 24 hours. Adding foam grip tape to the mold surface ensures a uniform finish.
3. After curing, drill guide holes using the mold’s pre-made guides.
4. Use the included shaper to trace a precise cutting line for your board, or employ tools like a depth router, copy router, or belt sander for extra precision. Finish by smoothing the edges and adding hardware and grip tape.
