Description

WHAT

Yet Another Filament Clip.

This is a clip for a first version of the Anycubic plastic spool. I call it Type 1 Spool. The holes are elliptical. In the Type 2 the holes are cilindrical.

I have published another clip for the cilindrical holes spool here https://makerworld.com/en/models/1491380-anycubic-type-2-plastic-spool-filament-clip

Some happy users of my Bambu Lab spool specific filament clip by ElektroQuark - MakerWorld ask me to take a similar approach for the Anycubic plastic spools. So here it is.

I want to note that the hole sizes in the Anycubic plastic spools have high tolerance, so the clip must work on all of them, but on some the fit will be perfect and in others a little tight.

Benefits of this unit:

  • AMS safe
  • Single part
  • No fasteners/screws needed.
  • Specific to Anycubic plastic spools.

Just print and try it. It works.

HOW TO USE IT

IT MUST BE INSTALLED AS PER THE FIRST IMAGE, so the filament goes from left to right through it, in the internal right side of the spool if installed in the AMS. Also, the chamfered side must by located towards the center of the spool.
