Suggestions for use
They are ideal for:
- Decorating children's rooms
- Decorating Christmas or birthday cards ⭐
- Creating Christmas decorations
- Hang from the ceiling or walls of your room and create your own constellations
- Hanging from objects or light switches that you want to find at night thanks to glow-in-the-dark filament
- Glue on any object as a decoration (gifts, cards, frames, photos, ….)
- You can also print the same star in different sizes and stick them on top of one another in different colours to create a more striking effect

Printing tips
If hanging on the wall or on a cardboard or another object and thus with only one face visible, print the first few layers of colored filament similar to the colour of light emitted by the glow in the dark filament or a color of your choice for greater daytime visibility (often glow in the dark filaments are opaque or almost transparent) and print with glow in the dark filament only the last few layers. The colored bottom layer will also act as a reflector and enhancer of the light produced by the fluorescent filament.
If the stars are hanging in the air and visible from both faces print first one layer with glow in the dark filament, then with a colored one as shown above, and then another layer with glow in the dark. This way you will increase the visibility from both visible faces.
Plate: If hanging or or glued to something I suggest printing the stars on a wrinkled or textured plate for better adhesion if glued. Otherwise if visible from both sides opt for a smooth plate.

3D printing settings
- Layers: 0,2 mm
- Infill: 100 %
- Infill pattern: grid
- Surface and bottom pattern: concentric, the print lines give a very pretty effect to stars
Plate: smooth or textured
Textured plate recommended if stars are to be glued to something, the texture provides more contact surface and allows better adhesion to the surface to which they will be glued.
- Material: PLA, ABS, etc
Ironing: not required
I suggest using the settings included in the included 3mf print profile created by me.
Tests and results: The model shown in the pictures was printed with yellow and "glow in the dark fluorescent green" PLA filament, Bambulab P1S printer, textured plate
⚠️NOTES
- Print at reduced speed to achieve a better result. Depending on the print settings, printing may be less well executed.
- Prolonged use of the glow-in-the-dark filament may erode the extruder due to its abrasiveness. Inform yourself and equip yourself with the right equipment, extruder etc. suitable for the filament.
