Python AMS Cover Caps Colored

I decided to Jazz up my Python AMS with these custom caps. This is a remix of Frostironmedia desiccant cages.

I created these using only three free programs. Photopea to create the text and make the PNG files. I then converted them to SVG and STL's using a free online converter. Then I assembled them in Tinkercad.

I then painted them in the Bambu studio slicer.

There are two versions, a 7 color which uses 2 AMS's and a 4 color single AMS version, I've included both in the 3mf file.

I printed these with an X1c but a P1 with an AMS will also work.

I used PLA but PETG will work too.

Just load the file and before you resync your AMS's place the corresponding colors in the matching slots.

This is Important that you DO THIS FIRST, Or you will lose all the painting.

You will get a warning of a floating cantilever . Just ignore this, It will print fine.

Here are the AMS assigned slot colors.

AMS #1

Slot #1 A1 White

Slot #2 A2 Yellow

Slot #3 A3 Army Green

AMS#2

Slot #1 B1 empty Not used

Slot #2 B2 Red

Slot #3 B3 Light Brown / Kaki ( Optional )

Slot #4 B4 Gray

It is critical that you don't move the parts around on the plate, Especially up and down.

The plate gap on the models is very close. To high or low and the colors won't print right.
