Description

This is a pocket clip I designed to repurpose the Casio F-91W watch face. As many devoted F-91W wearers know, the straps often fail long before the watch face or battery. I ended up with several watch faces and wanted to give them new life.

This build utilizes the original watch face pin that holds the strap. You'll need a watch spring bar tool, or even a thin nail, to remove the pin. Once removed, align the print in the spot where the strap used to be, and you've got yourself a functional loop for attaching to your belt loops or other gear.

Two models are provided:

  1. A solid version, which can be paired with a linking tool of your choice, like a carabiner.
  2. A version with a 1mm gap, designed to fit snugly over a belt loop—large enough to go through, but secure enough to stay put.

Bonus: this model can stand upright on its own when not in use!

This is a quick print, faster than the time it takes to heat the print bed. No supports are needed, but if your bed isn’t textured, you might want to add a brim for extra adhesion to keep this small part in place. I used a textured print bed, and it worked perfectly.
