EDIT Tue 22 Oct 16:40 : The previous version apparently had an issue with smaller holes cardboard.
The clamps has been modify to fit all kind of spools.

Another “different looking” of my original AMS cardboard adapter.
The hooks at center are slightly larger and should grip even better on regular cardboard spools.

If you plan to use it on mini spool, i suggest using the “original” version (LINK HERE).
 

REMEMBER:the AMS has limited space and therefore it will never be possible to build an adapter for coils with larger circumferences (max 202mm) or you would risk the adapter rubbing with the lid of the machine.
 

For this release you will find 5 plates with 5 different heights adapters (there are spools ranging from 4 to 7 or even 8 mm thick on outer circumference!!) on Normal or MAX version. These are intended for coils up to 200mm in circumference (to which a thickness of 0.8 of plastic is added) for a total of 201.6 mm. The MAX Version could be useful for these cardboard who are a bit larger (remember that cardboards aren't molded but cutted by machines and a very little error margin could happen). The MAX adapter circumference is exactly 202 mm .
