For your tree trimming this year, here is a set of four spinning Christmas ornaments. The rings spin freely around familiar Christmas scenes: an evergreen tree, an angel, a snowman, and a cozy house.
Separate the rings by rotating the ring (or scene) perpendicular to the rest of the ornament. Grab the edge and gently pull down. It should flex and release from the retaining hole at the top. To combine the rings, simply reverse the process.
There's something magical about print-in-place models. Many a time I've shown someone a box with a hinge and they were amazed. “What do you mean it was printed in one piece?!?” Since I also love Christmas, I thought I would combine the two types of magic and create a kinetic ornament.
If you like what I make, I would love it if you would please click the like button and/or download a print profile. If you really like what I make, then please consider buying me a coffee. Thank you so much!
