Description

Have you lost your treadmill key or couldn't sell it because you didn't have the key anymore like me. This key works on the type of treadmill where the key has to complete the circuit with a piece of metal.

Things you need to make it:

Hose clamp similar to the one in the photo. ½ inch or 12.66 mm

Tool to cut the clamp to about 1. ¼ inches or 32 mm long. Sheet metal cutter worked for me.

Pliers

Hammer or vise.

Directions:

Cut the hose clamp to about 1 ¼ inches long and fold one end over at a quarter inch from the end with pliers. Hammer the folded end as flat as possible.

Bend the hose clamp at 90 degrees so that it looks like the photo. The goal is to have the metal band protrude from the plastic about ½ an inch

Start the print and when the print pauses place the folded hose clamp band into the print. Make sure the metal strip is not protruding above print and continue printing.
