Description

The One Hand Dispenser Tap for “Bag in Box”

YouTube Short

Bag in Box

This is a snap in place Dispenser for Juice or Wine Bags known as “Bag in Box”.

You often get these bags 3l & 5l if you bring your own fruits to a cider mill to get own juice.

The common build in “vitop tap” handle of these bags are made for two handed operation.

With my little upgrade you can transform the tap into a dispenser! Push with the glass to tap some. => Only one hand needed.

The creation is a print in place part. For assembly just push the part from the bottom to the basic tap, it will snap to the correct spot.

It's recommend to use a box for the bag to use this dispenser properly.

The second part is a tool to remove it easily.

Happy Printing & Drinking 😀👍

The print worked perfectly. However, the 3-liter cartons lack sufficient resistance to withstand pressure. Some form of reinforcement would be necessary. Otherwise, a perfect idea. Thank you for your very prompt assistance with the additional component.

For this you would need a separate, more stable box. I'm currently in the process of designing something stylish that can be printed, and I will post it on Makerworld. Right now, I'm using a wooden box that I milled out, which provides a significantly more stable resistance. Was something wrong with the print profile, regarding the one-star deduction?

Works perfectly once you realize you need to push the glass up a bit further :)

UPDATE: The designer added support, and I highly recommend using it. It makes printing really easy and reliable. This is a genius model — it works great when the bag is full, but, as expected, it can be a bit tricky to use when the bag is almost empty.

Don't know but I first tried your two-color plate without support and it failed. Then I added options to slow down for overhangs but again it failed. Finally I added tree support and it went fine.

Strange, you were not the only one with misprint without support. Which filament and printer did u used?

It works amazingly well, zero problems when printing. I used some tree brackets for the overhangs to make sure they came out right.

Thanks very much for the nice review with pictures. I personally like NO support more, too. But some users got problems without support.
