Description

I bought a cheap precision screwdriver set to have at work when I need to take apart things with small screws. But it didn't come with a case. I wanted to get some practice in Onshape anyway, so I designed this. I started by arranging the individual components on the table how I wanted them in the case. Then I took a top down photo. I brought that picture into Onshape, scaled it to size, and used it to create the design.

 

If you have the same tool you can print out this case, and if not you can open the design in Onshape to see how I went about modeling it. Feel free to edit and modify the design for your own needs. I have included the STL and STEP files here. Below is the link to the Onshape native file. My normal CAD package is Solidworks, but I have been finding I really enjoy Onshape recently. It is nice to have access to my designs and a full featured CAD package anywhere I have access to a browser.
