Description

I designed this tool holder for the Ikea Skadis board in order to store my bits, nuts, ratchet and screwdrivers which I use the most.
There wasn't any available design which really fits my needs, so I hope someone else can also benefit from this.

The total width is 20 cm with a depth of 7 cm and it uses 3 hooks integrated into the back.

The slits for holding the screwdrivers and ratchets are 14 mm wide, which might be a bit excessive for most screwdrivers, but I wanted it to be able to fit even the wider ones without any problems. Depending on how large the handles of your ratchets and screwdrivers are, you can get 2-3 of them in each slit. They are slightly angled backwards to prevent the tools from slipping out.

The nutholders are designed for nuts with a diameter of 12 mm or less and you can fit a total of 13 of those.

For the bits I designed a rectangular pit which fits the rubber bitholders you usually get in a lot of toolsets.

They should have a width of around 10 mm each and a length of around 83 mm or less (83.4 mm max) to fit four of them into the holder.

If there is enough demand for it, I can also create a bitholder which holds individual bits as an inlay.

I designed the hooks after the original Ikea Skadis hooks for easy installation with a snug fit.

Since the top hooks hang in the air, they require tree supports (default auto settings).

If some of the supports stick to the hooks, it might help to file the excess material off to improve the fitment.

Enjoy and please like if you find this useful!
