Description
Update: Added a profile with tolerances of 0.3mm (instead of originally 0.2mm). If you have a whacky printer or unsure if your printer can handle tight tolerances, use the “Slack Tolerance” profile.

This print-in-place HollowTech 2 Crank Cap Tool is a versatile tool that combines a crank cap tightener and a bike-fitting aid in one. Built for
durability, it is important to note that the crank cap should only be tightened by hand—if you manage to break it, it was overtightened.
Beyond its primary function, the tool doubles as a reference point for various bike-fitting measurements, such as saddle setback and height. Simply attach a tape measure to the built-in slit, where a (optional) magnet holds it securely in place for easy, precise measurements.
For added convenience, you can integrate a 5x3mm magnet during 3D printing. Just pause the print at layer 40, insert the magnet, and continue printing. Check the preview before slicing to make sure the pause is at the correct layer height.
