Bill of Materials

Description

This BB shooting tank is modelled after the American M10 tank destroyer.

The firing mechanism takes inspiration from the mechanisms in Jaatinen3D's bb guns.

The model tries to be accurate to the M10, however, the barrel is not to scale as to allow for the firing mechanism.

The first plate requires supports, however, the second plate must not use supports as the hole in the firing pin will en up being filled in by the support, making it very difficult to remove the support

Additional Materials Required

  • Small pen spring, larger pen spring may not work
  • M3 bolt, at least 10mm long

Assembly

  1. Glue the tank treads to the main tank hull. Make sure that the end of the tread that has the steeper incline is orientated towrds the front of the tank.

  2. Slide the barrel into the hole at the front of the turret, the barrel may need sanding to slide in more easily. Make sure the end of the barrel is flush with the wall it sits against. Glueing is not required but can still be done if you wish.

  3. Drop the spring down the barrel first and then the firing pin, make sure the end with the hole goes in first

  4. Screw an M3 bolt into the hole of the firing pin

  5. Place the turret into the tanks hull, you can glue it in if you want but that just means that the turret can't turn.

Firing Instructions

  1. Prime the tank by pulling pack the firing pin
  2. insert a bb into the front
  3. flick the m3 screw up to fire
