This is a Remix of Poop Chute - Right Side by Wiseone.
I have widened the poop chute by approximately .25 inches. The length is the same.
The chute is attached the same as the original.
This is for those larger “poops”, from longer flush/purge times, that have a tendency to turn sideways while sliding down the ramp/chute causing a buildup in the chute. Especially true for those "poops" with long tails that may act as a wedge as the ball of filament is sliding. This is because the chute spans a longer distance across the back of the machine, which makes the angle of the ramp much less steep compared to one exiting on the left side of the machine. This causes the filament to get stuck a lot easier, due to lack of gravitational force from the shallow angle.
I have been running a lot of PLA projects using PETG-HF as the support interface, and the longer flushes required with filament swaps between the two create much larger droppings than the standard purge from normal loading/changing colors of the same filament type.
While this is a rather minor inconvenience, if ignored completely it is possible for the filament to back up the chute of the machine, into the chamber.
I have also included the ramp I made to act as an extension to reach over the edge of the table to my trash can.
This allows me to keep my machine a little further from the edge of the table, and not worry about the droppings piling up on the table/under the machine.
The extension is made to side over 1.75" thick tabletop but could be easily modified to fit other thicknesses. It could Also be modified to remove the hook altogether, and simply place on the tabletop (or secure with double-sided tape, etc.).
NOTE: I am using the anti-vibration feet on my P1S, which makes it sit higher off of the table. If you do not have these the ramp will not work properly because it will lift the end of the chute too high, resulting in too shallow of an angle.
Consider using this: P1S Base With Plate Holder by Feckn9ne - MakerWorld. This base/riser sets the printer to the same height as the anti-vibration feet and will pair perfectly with this poop chute.
Light sanding is helpful to remove ridges left on ramps surface due to the angle it must be printed at
Wiping down inside surface of chute with a light coat of Oil (silicone is best) also helps
