Description

Here's a cutting-edge square fidget spinner designed to be printed in place and ready to spin without the addition of an external bearing system.

More than just a fidget toy, this spinner is a stylish statement, with a touch of aesthetics thanks to the embossed circle decorations along the perimeters, ensuring a unique and captivating experience with every spin.

Enjoy spinning each of the squares that make up the fidget spinner.

Perfect for stress relief!

Each square is removable, giving you even more freedom to unleash your creativity by making it easier to print each frame with the color of your choice!

Size: 7 x 7 x 1 cm (W, L, H)

It's a print-in-place design, so no support needed nor assembly is needed.

If you like, you can add a drop of lubricant or light oil in the center handle to help the spinner spin faster with less friction.

No supports needed.

The STLs come together with their sliced 3MF files and their Bambu Studio projects.

N.B. I'm aware that the spinner can be a bit tricky to rotate due to its structure, causing the frames to "fall" downward.

This tolerance was the result of my design and prototype testing to allow both rotation of the entire piece and removal of each square for further customization.

I also made it a little wider considering that every printer and filament has a different tolerance, which I've tested and experienced myself too with other printer and filament brands.

If you find that the tolerance you are getting in your print is too wide and the parts are falling off too easily, you can try increasing the flow or temperature of the filament (e.g. by increasing the flow to 101 and/or the temperature by +5°C).
Alternatively, since the model is made up of several parts, you can right click on it and select “Split → To Parts”, select the frame you are interested in, and play around with its X and Y dimensions (e.g. set them to 101%, etc.).

one of my first prints, as a first 3D printer. printer with Bambu PLA-Tough. I printer in on a textured bed, so the "bottom" isn't smooth. It spins great!

It prints beautifully. The picture is directly from the printer. I will print it in several colors to mix and match between the levels.
