Description

This is an improvement to my original switch. The original had an issue where heavy trains could sometimes move the switch themselves. This system is an upgrade that helps prevent this by locking the switch in place. Naturally a child will be able to move the switch, however a train won't.

A 3 path switch is also available.

Naturally this has small parts and is not suitable for small children.

Assembly steps.

  1. Place the mechanism on a surface facing up.

  2. Insert the arm into the mechanism.

  3. Place the mechanism in the track.

  4. Insert the switch into the mechanism.

I'm sorry you experienced an issue. I will include a print profile that prints everything at once

Having a close look at your image, I have a question. in the sliced file (attached) the purge line is parallel to the long side of the track. In your image the purge line is parallel to the short side. It does not align with the print profile. Have you rearranged the parts? Additionally the print profile does print everything at once. The plate is setup to print "by object". This means it will complete the entire track, then it will print the connected parts afterwards on the same plate.
