Floating coffee cup sculpture with splash.

Note: Blue tac (or similar) is recommended for the base to keep it sturdy when assembled.

Was top heavy so I printed a saucer to glue to and that stabilized it.

I decided to add „real“ floating liquid to the sculpture (water). The pot underneath contains a pump that presses the water up into the printed „water“ To get this done I remodeled the liquid by adding a pipe in the center. Some open spaces at the top allow the water to get out and flow down again.

It was good, but the coffee part I have to print twice because the first broke itself while printing.

i had to reprint the milk with a brim because it unstuck near the end of the print , but other than that , it printed perfectly , nice model

printed it in two stages. the cup was effortless and smooth. the coffee took three runs before it printed. yes it’s a little too heavy but that’s easily fixed with a small weight glued to the bottom of the coffee. thanks.
