Description

This model supports printing with hard filaments such as PLA, PETG, ABS, etc.
Not everyone can print on soft materials like PTU.
It is recommended to use at PETG or ABS for printing.

 

It will reduce the printable height a little bit.

it is good, but has a very big flaw: usually the bearing from the Heatedbed sinks into that hole. I know, we often Print smaller Things, so the whole Z height isn't necessary at all. still keep in mind, that If you really need the whole Z height, you definetly Run into the Cover and the heated bed will be blocked. because of that, the Motors start to skip, causing a terrible Sound from the printer I'll keep them inside but I definetly have to be more aware of this Situation.

I appreciate the ingenious design! how easy it is to get all kind of filament in these holes, drove me nuts. great print and fits perfectly on P1S.

Thanks for the model. I have to agree with @Reiskeks...The cover has to come out during maintenance or on large models in Z.

it is a nice idea and i tried it but just be careful. if you do a large tall print like 255mm high then the bearings will crash into these. and also the z homing will go funny. as it will redefine it. so if you don't do tall prints you should be okay but never lower the bed fully with these
