Fidget Sphere - Rotating Ball Fidget Toy
Note: The sphere will need a little bit of force to snap then it can move freely.
If using silk filaments i would suggest the 0.16mm profile as its easier to break free by hand
How to use: Hold the fidget in your hand and roll with your thumb or roll it in your palm or spin it as fast as you can

After loosening the ball and spinning it around for a bit the ball spins freely and works as it should

Love this! There's a little rough spot at the bottom of the ball but I'm sure if I put more time in, I could smooth it out.

Strength Issue:oh. my. gosh. I tried to hit it with a hammer to unstick the ball. It only left a dent. Hit multiple times. Then, after forcefully trying to roll the ball, it finally worked but still wasn’t loose enough. Do not print this. Not worth the time or effort. EDIT: if that came off as rude, I am sorry. But still a 1 star 😿

Thanks for your feedback I would suggest pushing on it and then twisting to break it free it will then need a few minutes of pressure on it while spinning it around and then it should start to feel a lot smoother and spin more freely. Silk filaments seem to work better and feel more free

Printed a few to give away as little gifts, great responses from the recipients so far. Have used a mix of Bambu Silver PLA for the body and Generic Tricolour Silk PLA for ball. Works well and the tricolour gives and interesting spin look.
