The size can be reduced but walls are thin and may leave holes, either way, IT LOOKS GREAT!!!

As my partner says "OH wow, it's so big" (Think it was the spider she was on about)... have snuck it in my step-daughters room and frightened her !!

The holes were barely noticeable but the brim was very hard to remove. if I were to do again I'd go brimless.
