Tri Hex Spool
Print Profile(1)

Description
This is my first attempt at designing a filament spool. It has a same external dimensions as the Bambu spool so it fits in the AMS and AMS lite. It also works with the Bambu cardboard refills. It has holes around the center for the filament to be inserted into for re-spooling, and holes along the edge to thread it through in case you don't want to use a filament clip to keep it from unwinding.
I would probably recommend using a heat resistant filament if you plan on using it in a dryer. But if you go through a lot of filament quickly and dry it while it's still on the cardboard spool before transferring it over to a plastic spool for printing, you could probably just use PLA.
I am also planing on designing a filament clip that attaches to the edge of the spool and I'm working on an external plate that you can stick a label on for easy identification.
Please comment below if there are any improvements that I could implement that would make this a better model. Thanks!
