  • No support needed.
  • Please use PLA, Matte PLA or PLA+ (Tough PLA).
  • It is better to use a darker filament colour.
  • It is better to keep the print's settings as is because it gives the print some flexibility.
  • Please use the Textured PEI Build Plate. It will give the mousepad the texture. I have not used any other build plates.
  • The Side with a ring is the bottom side, because the other side where it faces the bed has the texture.

i am glad it works. what thickness would you suggest? i made it 2mm thicc so it can bend a little bit and not use a lot of material.

Good question. Not 100%, for some odd reason, I was expecting it to be twice as thick. In my case, it is partially not supported by the desk surface, so the extra thickness would help me, but likely not most people. The one thing you can do without hesitation is move the donut to print on the surface of the plate. This will avoid confusion about which side is up, and it will look cool. The donut should print very flat if it is on the build plate.

I have now added a new print profile for you. Where the thickness is 4mm and the donut is printed on the surface of the build plate. I hope this works for you.

absolutely love it. I didnt think the textured side would make the mouse move well but it glides across like butter. a much better alternative to my rough desk
