Always chasing perfection, I have revised the concept of the popular Cucumber Filament Clip and Dual Slot Filament Clip to improve its printability and make it even easier to use.

This is a clip that allows the spool to be used in the AMS without having to remove it first: print it, snap it on the spool and you don't think about it anymore!

 

This Low Profile Filament Clip, thanks to the reduced thickness of only 2 millimeters, will never interfere with the filament during printing and even during respooling.
The Pins now have a small cut that allows them to adapt to all Bambu Lab spools, including those with non-standard holes.
The profile of the slot to hold the filament has been carefully optimized to facilitate insertion both from above and from the side, always holding the material correctly.

Obviously this project requires the use of original Bambu Lab filament, or alternatively also other brands of filament as long as the flow-rate values have been calibrated.

 

If you print this clip in ABS or ASA I recommend compensating for the shrinkage by enlarging the model by 0.75% (you can do this directly from Bambu Studio).

If you have it, use TPU for AMS with the specific print profile.
