Ryvid Charging Cord Mount

Wanted a bracket to mount my charging cable to the accessory holes on the Ryvid frame.

• With the adjustable seat all the way down it actually prevents the cable from being removed.
• The coiled cable puts some pressure on the bracket to help hold itself in place, but I recommend at couple velcro cable ties to help maintain it's position (as pictured).
• The tolerances are VERY tight, and I have not noticed any loosening of the cable in my test rides. It is difficult to remove, which I consider to be a feature. I use the 220 cable for my daily charging and this bracket is just in case I find myself in need of charging when out on the bike. You may need to do a little sanding or slightly drill out the holes if your cable is too tight.
• The design is symmetrical, so you can mount it to either side of the bike, and in whatever position you prefer. I like the coils forward. If there were to be any issue at all I'd feel it in my knee before it became a problem.
• I don't anticipate it ever “capturing water” based on where it is mounted, but just to be sure I designed the hole for the ground pin to also act as a drain for the hole that holds the rectangular end of the cable.
• Requires two M6 screws for mounting to the existing holes. Mine were 20mm in length. You can probably get them slightly shorter or longer and it should still work. Consider a small amount of locktite to keep it from coming lose due to vibration.
