Description
TL;DR
A sculpture made from cubic frames inside of cubic frames that can only made with 3D printing.
Collection
Motivation
SpaceX Raptor engines feature laser-sintered manifolds and injectors that can only be made through 3D printing. Thinking about shapes that can be made as one piece only through additive manufacturing, I came up with cubes inside cubes, which I then printed with a silk filament to create a beautiful sculpture.
Let's get started
Clean the sheet with IPA and chose a silky filament to print.
