Really nice model.
Printed in PETG, scaled to 75% as I have smaller sponges.

I also use smaller sponges. But I'm also using it also for used coffee pads to let them dry. So I made it as big as possible to utilize the most available space around my sink.

Is the version with the step on the bottom so that water can drain via gravity and a tilt?

The top part of both versions is identical. So if you use the one with step or without step, water can drain via gravity.
The reason i added the step was that my sink is around 6mm higher than the kitchen plate.

Rescaled in x and y. Removed the mesh and made the walls longer. Works well!

This model works really well. I used some non-slip material underneath to keep it from sliding anywhere.
