Description

If you like my design please don't forget to give me a boost!

I have modified the upper measurements of the clip a little so that it is safer and invades the bed less, this way I have more peace of mind that the nozzle is not going to touch the clips at any time (with the original piece there was the possibility that the calibration and purge lines touch the part). The clips in this way can be placed anywhere except in the part of the cleaning and evacuation of poop, which does not fit because it is too tight.

Unlike the first try without a clip, I was able to print my model without the plate detaching from the bed. The only problem I had with the clips was that the size of the small clips did not fit my bed. I changed the height (Y) to 13mm instead of 12.26mm. Maybe the bed for X1C is not the same? Or can there be two versions?

Well, I don't know if there are two versions, but I do know that it can be loose or too tight depending on the construction plate used since not all of them have the same thickness, fine dimension adjustments may be necessary, thanks for commenting

There are 7 clips but only 2 of them are used in the photos. Could you share a photo, where to put them all? Thank you

Not all clips are necessary, use only those you consider depending on the piece and the risk that it may come loose from the build plate. Be careful where you place them, not the entire perimeter is valid. Check the available spaces when the bed is in the highest position, thanks for your comments!

Hmm, I'd expect that you - as the author - would do this investigation.

@hologos Let's see... what I have researched is the shape of the heated bed and that the clips fit correctly. Now, the ones you need so that there is no warping, depends on the part you are printing: it depends on the size it is, the filament you are using, how close it is to an area close to the outside of the plate, the geometry of the plate itself. piece etc etc... that's why I tell you to only put the ones you need, put all or many, it will work better, but they may not be necessary.

worked well, my pa6 kept warping the bed and this helped reduce that significantly.

printed with ABS. Holds very well and helps keep the plate from being lifted off the magnet surface during long ABS prints
