Description

Check new version, - Dummy 13 v1.0 in scale

It's full set of parts to print excellent Dummy13 by @soozafone in 500% scale. This remix fixes most of the problems you could get if tried this scale. I believe this will work also for 300%-700% scale. Tested on A1 Mini.

Also, it contains fully rebuild hands: fingers are with articulated joints and printed in one piece (it's pain to assemble them in this scale when printed separately). Finger-palm joints separated.

You'll need 0.6kg for skeleton and 0.75kg of filament for armour.

Before printing this model, I suggest to print posable hand model to verify filament and printer settings.

For frame, use PETG, ASA, etc. PLA will got loosen over time in joints because of creep.

If you already printed in PLA, use inserts printed in PETG or ASA

Differences of the remix compared to the original

  • Fully rebuild hands. It's compilation of easy13 posable hands and dummy13 posable hands with separated finger-palm joints. Fingers made to be printed in place;
  • Used Joints+ instead of original (original tent to crack on assembly);
  • Added joints inserts for stiffness. Should help when joints printed in PLA;
  • Changed head, modified to have detachable eye;
  • Eye printed separately. Glue should be used to attach it. I've used glow in dark filament to print eye.
  • Most of joints has fuzzy skin modified areas, to improve friction needed for this scale;
  • Modified armour to match scale (different scale - different tolerances)

All that was result of printing in 500% scale and fixing non-working parts.

Repairing loose joints - if you already built robot

UPD: v1.1 Skeleton files updated (palm-finger joints were too loose, also redone finder joints)

UPD: v1.2 Added inserts for Joints+.
