Description

Designed a wall hanger mount to hold my EGO batteries in the garage and free up some floor space.

EDIT: Have modified the file to fit better as people mentioned it needed to be scaled down a bit to fit properly which means my slot wall width needed to be brought down more. I've made those modifications as well as uploaded another steeper mount to have the battery more reclined off the wall at 85 degrees instead of just the 25 degree one originally. Any further recommendations or suggestions please drop me a msg. Thank you for your support, sharing your boost points are always appreciated but never required as I'm always open to help designing more great models for community to enjoy!

I just got a X1C and have no idea what I am doing. :). I love this design, but would like to have it at like a 5 degree angle. I would like mine coming off almost 90 degrees from the wall. Has anyone seen a file for something like that, or can tell me how to tweak this file to get the angle smaller?

it was so tight that the battery didn't fit at first but after a lot of sanding I got the perfect battery mount for Ego batteries.

that’s odd I had 3 different ego batteries I had to modify the file to print also I’m surprised it was still tight even for yours🤔a good tip too is if you have a little lighter torch to heat up the edges where it slides into and that way you can just push fit and wiggle the battery into place without doing any sanding just heat up the plastic to move where it fits best

Leary of the orientation, but printed excellently with no issues whatsoever.

I'm glad it worked out well for you and yes it seems odd printing it smaller side down but it was modelled to print support-free as such and with proper bed adhesion should have no issues. Thank you and happy printing!

Too large. Decrease the X axis (width) by 2.5% to get a proper fit.

I love the design, but when printed in PLA on my X1C, it was too large for a battery to slide onto. If I were to do it again, I would scale it down 5% to try and achieve a fit.
