UPDATE - 3/19/25
THIS IS NOT A BAMBU LABS REFILL SPOOL. I cannot believe I have to actually spell this out. The title says Printbed, the description says it is for moving from a Printbed cardboard spool to a spool that is AMS friendly, but as of this point, two people have posted comments saying that this doesn't fit Bambu refills and one of them rated the spool as 3 stars (Bambu since deleted the review).
This is a new and improved version of my original Printbed spool to add in some requested features and have a more structurally sound spool. The Printbed cardboard spools tend to be problematic for me in the regular AMS and as such, I've been looking for ways to keep it from failing since the spools kept getting stuck and overloading the AMS motors or else telling me that the filament was tangled.

| 2.1 | 7/31/24 | Models have been optimized thanks to help and support from GeoQer on Printbed's Discord. GeoQer noticed a small gap on the large spool and a double wall on the small spool. Took a bit to have time, but I just finished fixing the models and confirming the issues and that the changes fixed them. Version 2.1 files have been uploaded here and my print profile has been updated as well. The original STLs and 3MF are also included, and are tagged “OLD.” Based on slicing for the P1P, the small half now uses 3.92g less filament and takes 8 minutes less to finish. The large half now uses 0.66g less filament and takes 2 minutes less to finish. Total reduction is 4.58g and 10 minutes for the whole spool. |
