Description

Reusing is better that recycling!

Every new filament you get comes with a desiccant bag to keep it dry. Do not throw these bags away!

“Recharge” them by drying the bags in a filament dryer using this holder.

Designing the holder took in consideration the following principles:

  1. Minimum filament use
  2. Accepts variable size bags
  3. Can accept up to 18 bags
  4. Can use a standard spool
  5. Can be used in a standard filament dryer like SUNLU S2
  6. Does not require glue

I printed in PETG, so I can dry the bags at 70 degree Celsius.

To assemble the dryer, follow the instructions in this video (if you need instructions at all).

Once the desiccant bags are dried, place them in a ziplock bag along with a dry filament.

Enjoy!
