Build plate horizontal holder for 2-3-5 plates
Valid for the P1 X1 series and the new A1
Two versions avaliable:
- With holes for fixing with screws.
- No holes to fix with double-sided tape or glue
new! 23-12-23:
Added versions with holes, to fasten with screws.
I recommend using screws with countersunk heads (several measurements are valid, try once printed)
Danger: in order not to damage the construction plates with scratches, it is important that the heads do not protrude beyond the face where the construction plate is inserted (top blue line):
With this accessory we can store all our construction plates horizontally under a shelf or a similar place, hardly taking up space and with very little material expenditure.
The ladder layout with a difference of 10mm allows you to see the label of each of the build plates
You can use glue or double-sided tape to stick it

holds them well. I have my printer on tpu feet. The 5 plate holder fits underneath the printer very well.

I'm writing to express my deepest gratitude for the modifications you made to the plate holder design. Your swift and thoughtful response to my suggestions not only reflects your exceptional skill as a designer but also your commitment to the maker community.
I'm thrilled to share that I successfully printed the updated model. To ensure a perfect fit, I used a 3mm drill to gently enlarge the holes. This modification allowed me to securely fasten the holder using 3mm x 16mm wood screws. For added stability, I also employed double-sided tape, which proved to be an excellent choice for a firm and lasting attachment.
The end result is nothing short of remarkable. Your design, coupled with these adjustments, has created a product that is both practical and durable. It's a testament to the power of collaboration and open communication in the world of design and creation.

Dear Laurentiu, I have made the holes small so that they can be used for screws of any size, very large screws are certainly not necessary for the necessary weight.wow! Absolutely perfect design! I securely double-sided taped it to the side of my X1C, making it effortless to identify and select the required printing plates. It accommodates everything, from plates to spare stick pads. A big thank you for this convenient addition!
