Description

This is a PTFE tube guide for AMS Buffer outlet to the printers input.

Ever have issues where the AMS is not able to feed or retract the filament after a printing or during multiple changes. Straightening out the PTFE tubes path as it enters/exits the buffer or hub has helped resolve this issue for me a lot.

UPDATE 11/01/2023: Added new model for use with rear mounted spool holders.

I honestly don't know anyone that uses the rear mounted spool holder. You are probably correct, not sure if that deserves a 3 star rating, it was not made for people that use a spool holder.

youre right... give u one more. I use it the Spool Holder sometimes so it doesnt fit for me and much other. You should clearly comment that.If you want you could change a bit, there are some space to fit with stock spool holder

UPDATE: new model uploaded appears to fix this issue. 5 Stars! it printed beautifully, but it does not fit with external spool holder attached.

Ill note that in description, maybe owrk on one for those who still use external spool holder on back. This is mainly for AMS users that no longer use an external spool.

I second the use case that @Bam Bam Bu mentioned in a separate comment. I keep the external spool holder attached for when I print TPU, select carbon fiber filled materials, and other materials/spools incompatible with the AMS

Maybe you can use this for inspiration on your next iteration. I just cut 12 mm off one end of the .stl, and now, it fits fine.

My cord comes straight out and not at an angle like yours appears to. I'm assuming not all cords are the same?

You should have a cord with a 90 angle. I have not seen a printer that came with anything else. The other end, is it a 90 degree?

Oh nice! Great minds! Looks like I went a different route allowing the PTFE to naturally curve. There is one that holds on to the power plug and uses clips holding the ptfe, great concept but those clips kept releasing on me, hence this block.
